VERSIO4

SECURE ENTERPRISE IOS APP

THE CUSTOMER

Versio4 was founded by a team of successful Cambridge entrepreneurs and technologists, focussing on Product Management, Product Marketing and Product Development.

THE BRIEF

Versio4 approached us with a specific requirement to create a secure enterprise iOS application.

THE REQUIREMENTS

The application was for a blue-chip client of Versio4’s, who had detailed requirements about the app design and functionality. The mobile app needed to:

  • Interact with the client’s existing security mechanisms
  • Synchronise data between the app and existing databases

"GC quickly grasped the project requirements, worked closely with us, and their expertise in mobile application development enabled us to deliver a world class secure, mobile, enterprise application to our client."

Co-Founder, Versio4

THE SOLUTION

Versio4 choose to work with us due to our experience with developing mobile apps and our ability to quickly understand the requirements of the project leading to a rapid prototype.

We were able to advise on many aspects of the project and worked closely with Versio4 and their client to define how the app would interact with their existing security and database services.

A key requirement of the app was security and we were able to implement a number of measures, including local file encryption, pin code protection and remote wipe capabilities, to ensure that the app met the client’s requirements.

We delivered to Versio4, on time and budget, a universal iOS app that met the client’s needs. The client has subsequently released the app to the app store and it is used by their customers worldwide.

Our mobile expertise enabled us to hit the ground running producing a rapid prototype of the user interface. Our knowledge of the mobile platform, and the constraints within, helped shape the interfaces to the existing client databases. Our understanding of enterprise development ensured the app met the client’s security and other requirements.
